Purpose of Anthropology

Anthropology is social science which deals with culture, society, history of human and its biological and social evolution. Anthropology has been interested in cultural traditions, art, music, dance, literature, folk studies, beliefs, magic and all other super natural phenomenon.

Basically anthropology is inter-disciplinary subject and its scope and area of study is very wide. Applied anthropology has been major subject for people who are working with communities for their betterment, or project management for communities. Economic anthropology help us to understand economy , its history , major concepts and how it affect social customs and behaviours.

Anthropology re-interpret  pre-historic material to find out clear picture of human evolution . Medical Anthropology deals with community medicine which has been neglected by modern medical scientist due to colonial influence of west. Our history can be corrected but its need energy , honesty, and sources for research work

 

My Birth Place Larkana

I was born in village Ramzan kalhoro 15 km south of larkana city which is also district headquarter of district larkana. Larkana is very much famous all over the world because of many things. In which Moen Jo Daro ( an archeological place 5000 years old and home of indus civilization), Gari Khuda Bux , family grave yard of Bhutto family. There are graves of Zulfiqar ali Bhutto, his sons Murza,Shahnawaz Bhutto and his beloved daughter, Ex-Prime Minster , a legendary politician and loving mother Benazir Bhutto. There are other many graves of bhutto family too. Thirld thing is the location of area and nature of people with respect to politics and culture.
There are 4 subdivisions in larkana. Which are Dokri, Rato Dero, Bakrani and Larkana itself. There are few good hotels like Sapna hotel, Green palace hotel Paris Inn, Sambara Hotel, etc. There is good library in larkana called Sir Shahnawaz Memorial Library. This is wonderful institution in itself. I was regular reader of this library where I spend one of golden days of my life. I made many friends there but unforgettable and truly loving and honest Muslim Murtaza is one of them.
There is two degree colleges in my city ; one for girls and one for boys. There is one medical college ; Chandka medical college. Larkana city is divided between two part by Rice Cannal ( a Irrigation Water cannal). There are very beautiful places in larkana like, Hoshu Park, Zulfiqar Park, Overhead Bridge, State Life Building, Sambara hotel building, Suikarno Tower, Three P Tower,etc.
My city is loving charming and dancing in a way which could only be realized if you have extensively traveled in its streets and on its roads. This is wonderful city , to be visited. this is gate to knowledge for many people. Home to good writers and journalist. Earned very good reputation in Global and National politics. Voices are matchless if we talk about singers. Sufi tradition is very much strong in this city .

Terrorism And ItsReasons

Terrorism is word which has been used very commonly in all walks of life; refer to acts of terror. Since 9/11; thousands of people have been victim of brutal acts of terrorism all over world. USA fighting so called war on terror but there is no positive indications to control it.
There are many reasons which cause harsh differences in terms of culture, belief, society and economy and ultimately encourage people to stand up against all those who are against them. There is huge difference in economic status of people and elite of that society in all parts of world. there is need to understand that this is not only religious philosophy which encourage people for terror activities but there is other side of con too. US occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan are few examples which socially and economically motivate people to act against the interests of united states. Civilian deaths are much more than the death number of terrorist acts in all over the world.
Cultural differences are another strong and logical reason. People feel that American occupation of Muslim land is part of neo-colonialism policy which west has adopted against Muslim world.

Reflection on Sindhi literature

Sindhi literature is very old and had been part of Indus civilization. There are thousands of poets, short story writers, drama writers, novelists, musicians, singers,etc. Sindhi literature is very rich in its folk traditions and folk literature. I remembers when I was reading Amar jaleel, Jamal Abro, Ghulam Nabi Mughul, Sheikh ayaz and many others, they inspired me to think in different way. Siraj contribution in Sindh Novel is marvelous. His trilogy is matchless in his contemporaries. Sindhi Poetry can compet with Global themes and ideas prevalent in other side of world. Perani of Jamal abro is classical and modern in itself.
